Research

Jess completed the research on what is allowed in 15 and 18 certificate films.

From this research I have established the difference between a film rated 15, and a film rated 18. I know that if I was to make a film with an age rating of 15 then it must only show restricted amounts of the following sub categories; language, discrimination, nudity, sex, horror, imitable behaviour, theme, drugs and violence. Whereas if I was to make a film with an age rating of 18 there are no real limits, however it must not be too disturbing. This means that I have learnt that the differences between the two age ratings are mostly dependent on content, meaning I can apply this knowledge to my coursework when deciding whether to make our coursework a 15 or an 18.
